Botox is a chemical botulinum toxin that is produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. In Cosmetic surgery, Botox is used safely as an injectable medicine to weaken or paralyse facial muscles and smooth wrinkles. Botox injections are also used in the treatment of medical conditions like blepharospasm, localised muscle spasms, and strabismus.
